Vicki Sparks is the Founder of MatchMyBusinessOnline and ConnectWorking®, a strategic networking organisation in Qld Australia. Her entrepreneurial spirit has motivated her for over 16 years gaining experience in investing and business across numerous industries including hospitality, personal development, counselling, and wealth creation education on a local and international level.
Passionate about personal development, interpersonal communication and the study of human behavior, Vicki has formal education in psychology and related courses that has helped her develop advanced people skills that she directly attributes to the strong growth in her businesses. In addition, she has a high level of experience in business start-up and development, sales, administration, business development, marketing and public speaking.
MatchMyBusinessOnline and ConnectWorking® were born out of Vicki’s own frustrations with traditional networking. Having seen a number of weaknesses in the networking models at the time, Amanda and Vicki set to work on the ideal networking scenario. Vicki’s ability to identify niches in the market combined with Amanda’s innovation and creativity make this mother and daughter duo a fantastic team.
Passionate about connecting business around the world and a solutions based attitude to making it easier for business people has led to the implementations of her businesses. "There is a solution to every challenge, and it usually is masquerading as a challenge in the first place".
Besides being actively involved in both businesses, Vicki also speaks to relevant groups on how to network effectively to aid businesses in not only developing their networking skills but also on avoiding some of the common pitfalls business owners make in networking. There are many myths and misconceptions about networking and Vicki has made it her aim to dispel these and to give business people and sales people greater understanding of how to use networking as a most effective marketing and lead generation tool. Amanda Frith is a dynamic and vibrant young entrepreneur who is the co-founder of MatchMyBusinessOnline, the managing director of ConnectWorking® , and owner of Velocity Media & Communications. Amanda has a formal background in journalism and advertising and a high level of experience in business start up, growth and development, systems development & implementation, IT, marketing, event management, media and public relations.
As a young entrepreneur, Amanda has won numerous business excellence awards and has been featured in the local, state and national media. Wealth Creator Magazine referred to Amanda as ‘an entrepreneur to watch in the future’.
Amanda’s entrepreneurial spirit started at the tender age of eight when she started writing goals and carrying around her dream book. Yearning for bigger and better things she started educating herself in personal development and wealth creation at the age of fifteen. At sixteen she began to put her knowledge in action by trading options on the stock market, then bought and sold her first investment property overseas with a 100% profit when she was eighteen. Amanda along with her mother and business partner founded The Entrepreneurial Mind when Amanda was only nineteen. Amanda’s creative ideas and her fresh approach to the concept of networking has resulted in some of the most innovative concepts, benefits, events and techniques that are now revolutionising the networking industry. Amanda has also been instrumental in assisting numerous businesses form successful strategic alliances and referral channels that have led to thousands of dollars in transactions.
